A sweater dress is a cold-weather staple that’s just as comfy as staying in your pajamas all day, but it looks like you put in a ton of work. It’s one of my favorite holiday hacks for looking chic with minimal effort.

I love this off-white maxi-length one Felicia wears, but any sweater dress will work as long as it feels festive. A dark red, black, or forest green knit dress would also be beautiful. While you’re at it, add some ballet flats and a satin bow in your hair as a finishing touch.

Sequin pants are a cute and easy way to add some glitz and glamor to your outfits. They are the star of the show, so let them shine by pairing them with neutral, timeless pieces. 

You can style them like I did above with a comfy sweater, ballet flats, and a leather clutch. Need a warm layer? Layer with a leather jacket or long wool coat.

Mini skirt, tights + chunky boots.

Have a mini sweater dress? Throw it on with a wool coat  and tights for a cool, stylish look. You can dress it down with chunky boots for an edgy touch or opt for knee-high leather boots if you want something dressier. 

Amp up the coziness with a chunky scarf (ideally a hand-woven one you received as a gift) and a steaming cup of hot cocoa in hand.
